To set up your 3DR radio, you need to download the RCTEST PROGRAM onto the computer that has a USB port. This program is used to calibrate and identify each stick button presses for each stick direction. Install the program by downloading it from this link: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread. php?t=2688150 Next, you’ll need to install the drivers for the 3DR Radio. First, Unzip the files after downloading them. Then, plug in your 3DR Radio to the computer using a micro USB cord. The program should automatically install the drivers if it can recognize your radio. If it does not recognize your radio, then try installing them manually by following this link: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2688150 To calibrate your radio you will also need to download another program called RCTEST CALIBRATION PROGRAM (https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread. php?t=2688152). When you unzip the file, you will need to go into the PROGRAM folder and open the RCTest_calibrate_FRSky.exe. Next, plug in your 3DR Radio while holding down the bind button while you are plugged in. It should bring up a screen that reads “Enter button action”, if it does not give you an error saying it cannot find your radio. Adjust your sticks until they are both centered, then hit enter. You should see an on-screen message saying that calibration was successful. Controls are at the lower left of your screen. This program allows the user to bind his/her desired functions to their favorite flight sticks. This is done by adjusting the sticks to find what is called ‘center’, which will have no movement in either direction until you engage it. Once you have done this, save it by pressing “save” at the top (next to where it says "Rename"). Then, you will need to go into the PROGRAM folder and open the RCTEST_ProgramBind.exe file that you just saved. Then plug in your 3DR Radio that has been calibrated using RCTEST CALIBRATION PROGRAM (https://www.rcgroups. com/forums/showthread. php?t=2688152) while holding down the bind button while you are plugged in. A screen will pop up with a list of all your functions and what they do. Go through each function and bind it to one of your sticks choices by using the drop down menu. You can also rename these functions if you want to make it more easy to remember what they do (this is especially important when you have a lot of functions bound to each button). If you want to make sure that the program works properly for your radio, then go into PROGRAMS and open RCTEST_test_freq_FRSky.exe next. eccc085e13
